Neuromodulators are wrinkle relaxing injections of botulinum toxin. These are commercially known as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Jeuveau. These are  injected directly into the muscle, causing it to relax and gradually smooth out the appearance of the overlying skin. Thus it is used to improve the look of moderate to severe wrinkles such as frown lines and crows feet.
